About this instructor
I am a member of the Cincinnati Yoga Teachers Association and have studied yoga since 1974 and have been teaching since 1987. I have a 240 hour certification from the Aura Wellnes Center. My favorite mentors are Lilias Folan and BKS Iyengar. My classes are classical hatha style with emphasis on alignment,deep breathing and relaxation.

Integral Yoga

I did a 200 credit hour training course
at the Satchidananda Ashram in Yogaville, VA, during the Spring of 2011. In my
class I provide instruction in Hatha Yoga, deep relaxation, Pranayama, and
meditation as taught by Integral Yoga. The practices of Integral Yoga are part
of an ancient system of holistic health and self-actualization. Hatha Yoga is a
complementary series of physical postures and stretches. Pranayama consists of
breathing practices. Meditation focuses and elevates the mind. Come and relax as
I guide you through an adaptation of the time-proved tradition of Yoga. When
practiced regularly, Yoga reduces stress, prevents illnesses, and promotes an
overall sense of well-being.
